Client testimonial
How an AI revolution moment on a podcast became a strategic programme — and why the CEO of Yorkshire Housing didn't hesitate to write this testimonial.
Quite simply we wouldn’t be where we are now without Guy’s input and support.

Full testimonial
I didn’t hesitate when asked to write this testimonial. That’s because we’re living through a revolution — an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered revolution. This is already revolutionising all aspects of our lives — both at home and work.
The pace of change and adoption is truly exponential, and this poses a real challenge for all of us — but especially those of us who are fortunate to be in leadership roles.
The light bulb moment on my AI journey was when Guy appeared on our Raising the Roof podcast. About halfway through the recording, I vividly remember realising that AI was the superpower I hadn’t realised was missing from our big strategic ambition at Yorkshire Housing to transform the premiss of the landlord service offer from reactive to pre-emptive. This was the point at which I started to think how we could harness the power for positivity that AI unlocks.
But how could we do this and where would we start? And that’s where our journey with Guy began. He helped us to develop a plan, acting as a strategic advisor to the business but also ensuring there was knowledge transfer to enable us to execute the plans we’d developed with his support. He has a lovely engaging style as well as an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly at all levels across an organisation. He was also clear on the boundaries and always retained a high quality, high impact, strategic level light-touch approach.
Quite simply we wouldn’t be where we are now without Guy’s input and support.

Chief Executive Officer, Yorkshire Housing
The engagement
Yorkshire Housing is one of the leading housing providers in Yorkshire, with a bold ambition to move its service model from reactive to pre-emptive. The partnership with FUZA began after CEO Nick Atkin heard Guy speak on the Raising the Roof podcast — and recognised AI as the missing superpower in that strategic ambition.
Strategic advisory
FUZA worked alongside Yorkshire Housing’s executive team to develop a clear AI strategy, identifying where AI could make the biggest difference to their service model and how to prioritise investment and effort.
Knowledge transfer
The engagement was designed for independence. Guy ensured that the knowledge and capability to execute the AI plans sat firmly within Yorkshire Housing’s own team, not locked in an external dependency.
Why it worked
The engagement combined strategic rigour with genuine knowledge transfer — so Yorkshire Housing came away with both a plan and the capability to execute it.
Where FUZA added value
Independent strategic advice, delivered at the right level across the organisation, with a light-touch approach that respected Yorkshire Housing’s own leadership capacity.
Housing specialism
Housing remains one of FUZA’s clearest areas of depth, particularly where governance, service transformation, and AI adoption need to move together.
